I replaced the remote battery on 2004 Acura TL and it still

Customer Question

I replaced the remote battery on 2004 Acura TL and it still doesn't work
JA: Have you tested the battery with a voltmeter? And can you see if it's leaking or not?
Customer: Yes The remote is just not responding. Does it need to be reprogrammed
JA: Are you fixing your TL yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Just changed the battery in the remote that's it. The car is fine. It's the remote
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: No

Replacing the Battery in the Remote should not make you Program.
Have you tested the Remote to see if it is "Transmitting" a signal?
Many Auto Parts Stores will test for FREE
Dealer may charge

did you need more info?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
What do you do if the car is locked and you need the remote working to get in?
Customer: replied 2 months ago.
The door lock is not properly working right now using the key is a no go.
Expert:  Don 'Mo Lurch' replied 2 months ago.

I'm sorry......you never mentioned that in your first question
That is why I asked if you have had the Transmitter Tested
IF you cannot enter the vehicle with a Key or Transmitter, then you will need to "break in"
You can have a Mobile Locksmith, Tow Driver or AAA do this
Or you can try to Unlock the Door using a long stiff wire , by carefully pulling out "a little" on the Driver upper Corner of the window
Insert a wedge into the opening to hold it out
Use the wire to Unlock Vehicle Door Lock on door
.
