Customer Question

My son and husband have replaced one of the headlights in my son's 2002 Acura TL, but it still doesn't work. They found an online DIY youtube video and followed all the instructions. Still, the headlight won't work. What are they missing?

Hello welcome to just answer I am master tech and will be able to assist you

did they check the fuses and also was it just the bulb that was replaced of the igniter control unit ?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
Just the bulb. And their understanding is that if it was the fuse, BOTH headlights would be out, but it's just the one.
Expert:  MASTER TECH replied 3 months ago.

no their is actually a fuse for both sides.

this fuse is located in the under Hood fuse box and will be marked on the lid.

if the fuses are good then you will need to replace the igniter/control unit that's mounted under the headlight assembly
