2005 Acura MDX Power door locks completely inoperable with

Customer Question

2005 Acura MDX Power door locks completely inoperable with key fob and switches inside car. Just replaced driver front driver door actuator, wire repair in liftgate, and replaced fuse in passenger front kick panel. I used to hit the rear defroster and that would lock all doors, but the wire repair fixed that issue. Any other ideas?

I can hear a "click" in the passenger kick panel any time I attempt to lock or unlock from either door switch or fob.

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

If you're hearing a click when pressing lock and unlock then it's attempting to lock and unlock but power or ground is being lost somewhere. The problem may be a blown fuse, wiring or an internal issue in the MICU or fuse box.

What fuse was replaced? Was it blown when it was replaced?

If so, has it blown again?

I assume that no power locks were working before the actuator was replaced?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
The 20a fuse for the power door locks was replaced, though it did not appear to be blown, just a little scorched on the blade ends. All actuators were were working except for driver front, which was replaced, and all were working fine after replacement for a couple weeks. The clicking sounds like it is coming from the fuse area, passenger kick panel.

Did all doors stop working together?

To clarify, the fuse was replaced after all doors stopped working?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
That's correct. It did not appear to be popped, but I replaced it anyway.
