Customer Question

After replacing a bad battery the navi screen is blank in my 2005 Acura RL. Can't adjust climate radio or anything that would be on the screen.
JA: Thanks. Can you give me any more details about your issue?
Customer: They had to replace one fuse to get the key and power on. Is it possible there is another fuse blown?
JA: OK got it. Last thing — Mechanics for Acura generally expect a deposit of about $18 to help with your type of question (you only pay if satisfied). Now I'm going to take you to a page to place a secure deposit with JustAnswer. Don't worry, this chat is saved. After that, we will finish helping you.

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
Ok I will check that.
Expert:  MASTER TECH replied 9 months ago.

it's a 50 amp fuse.

Expert:  MASTER TECH replied 9 months ago.

just checking in to see what you found ?

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
I looked at it and it didn't look like it was blown or broken but I can buy a new one and try it.
Expert:  MASTER TECH replied 9 months ago.

well if its ok then no need to.

do you have a volt meter to make sure you have 12 volts across the cable.

Expert:  MASTER TECH replied 9 months ago.

did you also check the fuses in the under hood fuse box ?

fuse # *****

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
Should there be 12V across it while running or off? I will check those other one as well
Customer: replied 9 months ago.
I don't think the light in the navi unit in the trunk is on either and wouldn't eject when I tried to see if it would work? Would that be the 50amp fuse as well?
Expert:  MASTER TECH replied 9 months ago.

Off is the same. I will have to look at the electrical diagram when I return back home.
