Hello, did you have a check engine light issue you were trying to solve? If yes, what was the code?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No just vsa light and vsa indicate light pop on
Expert:  HONDASERVICE7791 replied 1 year ago.

so why may I ask did you change the egr valve?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I change that when my vsa light came on
Expert:  HONDASERVICE7791 replied 1 year ago.

yes isn't quite the answer I was looking for. you just decided to change the egr valve because the vsa light came on?

Expert:  HONDASERVICE7791 replied 1 year ago.

who or what told you to replace the egr valve?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I changed egr valve because I was doing some read and thought that was the problem could it be a sensor that make vsa light come on
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
This woman on net was have some of the same problem and she change her egr valve so I thought I try it
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I can't figure out what it could be
Expert:  HONDASERVICE7791 replied 1 year ago.

no it is possible for the egr valve to cause the vsa to come on. Most of the time the checkengine light will come on as well.

the correct repair is to replace the egr valve but to also clean out the egr passages as well. They get clogged with carbon and replacing the valve by itself doesn't completely fix it.

Expert:  HONDASERVICE7791 replied 1 year ago.

this is all said and done if there are no anti-lock, traction control codes stored in the vehicle.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I had the egr port clean as well
Expert:  HONDASERVICE7791 replied 1 year ago.

you cleared the entire passage?

Expert:  HONDASERVICE7791 replied 1 year ago.

well if that's the case there must be a traction control code stored in the car.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Am not sure about the whole passage been clean
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I put it on a machine but there no codes
Expert:  HONDASERVICE7791 replied 1 year ago.

as I stated usually if there is a egr issue, then the check engine light will be on too

Expert:  HONDASERVICE7791 replied 1 year ago.

did you do the work or did someone else?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Someone else did it for me
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Well it was a check engine light way b4 but the vsa light wasn't on so I cleared to see if pop back on it never did week layer vsa light kick on
Expert:  HONDASERVICE7791 replied 1 year ago.

ok in order for me to give a proper diagnosis I need the entire information, I am not in front of your vehicle so I can't see what was done or not done. Early in our conversation I asked you if the check engine light was on and you said no, Now you said it was on originally!

What was the original code for?

I can't help you effectively if you don't provide me with the correct information

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I didn't test it for code the first time it came on I just reset it to see if check engine light would come bck on but it never did so then my vsa light came on but no check engine light so there where am stuck so I was talking to a woman on net and she had some of the same problem that why I change egr valve but now light still on vsa
Expert:  HONDASERVICE7791 replied 1 year ago.

ok what you will need to do next is have the vehicle scanned for codes. there must be separate codes in the traction control system causing the light to come on.

I can't tell you or guide you to a repair until I know if there are any codes.

you can keep this thread open and post here after you get the car scanned

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Ok thank
Expert:  HONDASERVICE7791 replied 1 year ago.

your welcome. just post whenever you have any codes for me
