I have two issues wit my 2001 Acura MDX wit 128,000 miles.

Hi, I have two issues wit my 2001 Acura MDX wit 128,000 miles. (1) the SRX light came on and will not turn off. (2) when I started the MDX today the battery and and brake turned on and will not turn off. This has never happened before.

your first issue with the battery light is caused from the alternator not charging. so have the charging system tested to confirm this.

your second issue with the srs system will require a scan of the srs system.

most likely it's a failed drivers seat belt buckle and this is a free repair at the acura dealer providing this does not have a salvaged title.
