Intermittently my NAVI appears to reboot and asks 4-digit

Customer Question

Intermittently my NAVI appears to reboot and asks for the 4-digit code, which I have. When I enter it, the system eventually acquires a link and operates fine. This does not happen every time the car is turned on.

Hello!

Does this only happen upon starting the car?

Hi!

How old is your battery?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I am not certain, but it is definitely not the original battery.
Expert:  Anthony replied 1 year ago.

Hello.

Id have the connections checked if okay, replace that battery. Its weak and the power is dropping too low during start up. Causing th enavi to loose its memory. If let go it could damage the navi.
