How do I perform steps #1, 8 & 9?

Thanks

#1 yu are removing the side panel of the console to gain access to the sensor. The last steps require a HDS scantool

Thanks. This appears to be a project best left to a professional. Acura dealer quoted $900 for the job. Any advice on how I can reduce this cost?

Thanks

YOu can have it done at an Asian specialty shop for a little less but the list price on the sensor is $681 so there is not a lot of savings. Have them make sure the sensor is really failed and not just out of calibration. You do need the correct scantool to be able to do the calibration and the HDS runs about $4500 so they need to get that cost back as well. This is not a DIY job.

Not much help on the cost I know but please let me know what questions you have

Thank you
