Ok let's try to reset the radio to start with and then re-try. Disconnect the battery for around 3 minutes and then re-try the code.

ok battery is disconnected ....i replaced a sensor in my car today and disconnecteed the battery to rest the code

Ok. We may need to disconnect the battery for 30 minutes and then disconnect the antenna lead at the rear window next and then try to input the code. If that does not work and the serial # XX XXXX you may have a bad radio.

No but to do that you can roll the window all the way up first. Then press and hold the down button until it reaches the bottom of it's travel. Continue holding the button for 3 seconds and then release. Do the same thing for the up button and the Auto function should be set.
