2004 MDX Touring: intermittent wipers..windshield..connector..manually

Resolved Question:

I have a 2004 MDX Touring with rain sensor wipers. The intermittent wipers don't work because the windshield was replaced. Can I rewire the rain sensor connector to make them work manually?

HONDASERVICE7791 :

You will need to get the correct windshield insatlled in the vehicle. They make two windshields one with and one without rain sensor. they installed the incorredt one, it cannot be rewired to work properly

Customer:

OK. Can you tell me if the rains sensor:

Customer:

Attaches to the windshield itself and if so, where is the wiring if plugs into? How do I get at it?

HONDASERVICE7791 :

i believe the wiring is up on top of the windshield right behind the rear view mirror assembly but let me double check
