Anti theft light is flashing and car won't start - seems to be stuck in park.

When you try to start it what happens? Do the dash lights come on at all?
yes - sounds like it will start but then doesn't "turn over"
i live in a not great area - a little worried someone tampered with it from the outside - also seems to be locked in park
have you tried to jump start it? The battery may just be low. Also check and see if the brake lights are working. If they do not work it will not come out of park.
no, they do not appear to be working
near the shifter you should find a rectangular piece of plastic that you can pop out with a small screwdriver. You can insert your key into that hole and push down. This will allow the shifter to come out of park if you need to push it. I would try jump starting the RDX next. The battery may be too low to allow it to start.
just tried jumpstarting - no luck
i saw a kid messing around in the vicinity of my car this am - wondering if he unplugged some wire accessible from the outside as a prank
I doubt he would have been able to get up into the engine compartment to do anything. did anything start working like te lights when you tried to jump it?

Your battery may be so low it will not accept a jump from another car. Did you also notice a clicking from under the hood?
