Question on QuickBooks. I am real estate broker. The average split of my agents is 90% to their favor. When I get the commission checks I categorized them as Commission Income in the income category. When I pay the realtors I categorized it as CommissionsPaid in the expense category. My reports show a huge income "commission Income", that gets offset by an almost equal "commissionsPaid" expense. I'd like to set a system where the commission income and commissionsPaid would wash each other and would not show in the reports. I'd like the report to only show the 10% I am keeping.

I almost completed my tax return so I saved it till I got the T form with the information. so I go to Turbo tax icon and find my file but the file won't open. What should I do. The error message said the file may be damaged. I tried to re-install Turbo Tax. the program will go thorough the wizard and indicated re-installation is o.k. but I still can open my file. Please advise.
