I just installed Windows 10. My QuickBooks program no longer

Customer Question

I just installed Windows 10. My QuickBooks program no longer allows files to be converted to PDF. How can I correct this problem?

You will not be able to correct the problem without a work around. QuickBooks 2014 and below are not compatible with Windows 10.

One thing you can do is go to PrimoPDF.com and install their software. This software essentially installs a printer on your computer. When you need a pdf file printed from your quickbooks, you would hit print, like you were going to print it on paper, then choose the primoPDF printer instead of your regular printer. This then prints the report into a pdf file that opens up in another window, then you can save, email, or print the pdf file like you would normally.

There are other PDF printers available. This is just one that I am familiar with and is free.

Alternately, you can upgrade your QuickBooks to a newer version, 2015 or 2016 should work fine with Windows 10
