I HAVE BEEN GETTING ERROR WITH 15241 AND ANOTHER THEY FILE YOU SPECIFIED CANNOT BE OPENED MAKE SURE THAT IT IS NOT CURRENTLY BEING USED BY ANOTHER PROGRAM OR READ ONLY FILE "THE FILE EXISTS" THIS HAPPENS ON START UP. NEED HELP PLEASE ON BOTH.

if this is quickbooks you usually get that message because it could not complete an update for some reason. If it just started recently we may be able to get it to the point it was before the update using system restore. System restore instructions - windows 7 or 8 8.1hold the windows logo key down and hit Rtype rstrui.exe in the run box that comes up and hit enter select restore to an earlier date. Under the "suggested restore" which is usually not old enough to help is a link for "OTHER RESTORE POINTS"click that if the suggested ones are not BEFORE THE PROBLEM STARTEDchoose a date that is BEFORE you experienced the problemhit ok / restorethe computer will start to shut down a restoring settngs box will appear with a status barwhen it finishes your computer will restart with the same settings it had on the date you restored to. your data will not be affected. It is not perfect. But it fixes a lot of things.
