I do not get an error message. I am able to preview print and when I hit the print key. My printer acts like it is starting to print but stops and just give me blank page.
I can print lists,etc out of QB but not invoices until just recently. I have always been able to print invoices with no issues.
Windows XP was already picked.
I opened QB and tried to print invoice ....same problem no change . Could not print.
I tried this procedure and it seemed to be installing/repairing.
But it stopped and gave following error:
"Error 1334: the file 'QBADR.dat' cannot be installed. Insert QB CD & retry or note error & type this in wed browser."
I inserted cd and tried again but got same error.
The cd was inserted.
I tried to run the "repair" again and got same message.
What do I need to do to run"installation" that you mentioned above? Is this different.
OK, just to make sure I do this correct.
After I insert the cd do I go back to controlpanel, programs, uninstall.
The click QB, click change, then repair???
Or do I do something else?
I closed all programs, inserted QB disk, then went to Control Panel, uninstall, QB. and started the repair process and got same error.
Should I have done something else?
Ok, so I will be installing QB again. Correct?
Will this be Ok with all the data I have in QB?
I noticed that I still have all the info in quickbooks. I did not uninstall previously but just went to uninstall/repair and tried to repair. So I backed up QB.
I then closed all programs and insterted disk and attempted to install QB but got the same error as above???
ok, I uninstalled QB and installed again from cd.
Yes I instaalled per instructions.
I have a newly installed blank version of QB 2009 with no data.
Do I need to run the updates then restore data from backup?
I went to File>open or restore company and went to backup from today.
I received message" QB cannot open this company file because it was updated to a newer QB mainenance release than the one you are currently using. This file was last used with R10. You are currently using R1."
How do I restore ther data and Company information?

I then went to files>open or restore company and went to today's backup.
I recieved same message as above except it said tha last file used was R11. I checked updates again and all are up to date.???
I am confused.
It is taking a long time to download
I downloaded patch and installed it.
At end of installation got the following error message:
"No version of Quickbooks found to update. Canceling updates."
Should I still restart and restore?
I tried to restore and same results as Sunday at message above on Sunday at 2:51 pm
Now I have no QB.
I cannot use Quickbooks after the process we went through under your guidance.
What can we do now? At least I had QB before our discussions even though I could not print invoices!
Well, I have good news and other news.
I opened QB and got message R14 needs update. So, I hit update and it seemed to be installing a number of updates. Then after complete, ,message came up that said "QB 2009 up to date". So, i restored files successfuly and was able to go into QB and Print invoices. YES!!!
Then when I closed QB note came up with "Runtime error" Error R6025 pure virtual function call. I restarted computer and signed in to QB, was able to print invoices but receved the same note when signing out of QB.
What does this message mean/ What do I need to do?
after installing download and restarting I still get the same error after closing QB.
