QUICK BOOKS 2009

I have a quick books set up already done that is ok for a company that I closed. I am starting a new company, but I like to use the same setup as before. How can I copy the setup, without any of the accounting info. If something does not suit me, I can change once I make the duplicate under a new company of password.
Thanks for your question. My name is XXXXX XXXXX I look forward to assisting you.

The only way you could do this, is to make a copy of your QBW file (which is your company file)

Then open this copy as the new computer, and remove all the data within it.

You cannot make a template as such (which is what you really are after) so this is as close as you can come.

It would keep the settings, you would just need to delete all the data from it.

If you have any difficulties at all, please do not hesitate to let me know so I can assist you further

Thank you

How would you clear the data?

You would need to delete the transactions Bill.

Any data that you have added.

Again, this is not a clean and easy way, there is none for this, but it is the only way to get a "template" of your company.
