This answer was rated:

We previously used QuickBooks Online in Jan and Feb. We began using QB Enterprise edition in late Feb. At that time, we did not move any files from the online version to enterprise. We now see that we should have. It's just payroll. I exported from QB online the Payroll Details into an XLS. What do I do with this file to get it into QB Enterprise so I can get the payroll files in for Jan and Feb?? Help!
Thanks for your Question. My name is XXXXX XXXXX I look forward to assisting you.

You need to convert the file into a QIF.

First, rename the XLS to CSV

Then use this program to convert it to a QIF file.

Once done, in Quicken go to File -> File Import -> QIF File

This will then import your data.

If you have any difficulties at all, please do not hesitate to let me know so I can assist you further

Thank you

I have the file converted to a QIF. But, in my edition of "Intuit QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions 13.0 multi-user" (not Quicken) there is no File/File Import option.

ok, this version is not going to allow it sorry.

With this version, your not going to be able to import the data sorry.
