I lost a transaction group on quicken 2007 and am wondering how to get it back?

This will be due to it being deleted or data corruption.

we will rule out data corruption first. To do this,

Click on File on the top menu bar, then select File Operations > Validate.

If you are currently in the data file you would like to validate, it will already be selected. If you want to validate a different file, then you will need to click Browse to locate that data file.

Put a check next to Validate file.

Click OK.

Let it complete, then restart Quicken and check if it has returned.

Else it has been deleted, and you will need to restore your last Quicken Backup you made to restore the group.
