I was using it with Windows 7 but cannot find th Icin o Windows 8

ok, Quicken 2011 is not compatible with windows 8, so this can be part of the problem, but tell me what happens when you try to add the account in Quicken this way please

From the Tools menu select Add Account....
Enter the name of your bank and click Next.
Enter your credentials, select Save this password (if using password XXXXX) and click Connect.
If you get a screen that allows you to select the account type(s) for discovered accounts, then select the type and click Next.

When I open Quicken I can go to accounts then checking

Do it this way and let me know if you have difficulties

Sorry. I am having trouble connecting with bank. I'M not sure what they want for user name or user Id. It,s been a long time since I started using this. I Have entered the only ones I have used but am getting nowhere .
