I have had to reinstall QB, and then update it, but there is an error 15271 in Maintenance Releases, so I can't restore my backup.Please help!
Already Tried: Tried to update it several times; Essentials, New Features, and Pro have all installed. now at a loss
Try disabling your anti virus and firewall temporarily and doing the clean install with the utilities on the page in the instrutions below..
If that does not work please give me the version of QB and the operating system you are using and the exact word for word error message that you get

Well i would have been very happy to continue to help you. It seems a bit unfair that you told me that my answer was too "general" ( did you even try it ? ) Especially since your question was very general ie i bet you told them what version you were using on what operating system which you did not provide me although i asked for it.
I needed an answer sooner than received. That is why I went to them. even though their fee is exorbitant. (I was obviously wrong thinking I would get a reply sooner; wish I had known. I somehow - again, wrongly -- thought there were experts to answer quicker than this.)
I answered as soon as i saw the question. It was about 2 and a half hours after you posted it. Its a holiday in the US today celebrating our independance from you guys lol. There may not be that many people working as there might be on another day. Many people are ok with waiting a few hours for a reply to a difficult question. Some times the reply will come immediately. It is a function of who is online that wants to answer at the time it was posted.
I "hear" what you are saying, and understand your perspective. My impression from the website is that there are consultants ready to answer right away, and I needed a resolution right away.
I have already answered this at least twice. PLEASE STOP ASKING ME FOR A RATING!
