I HAVE QUICKEN 2001 FOR PC AND WANT TO TRANSFER IT TO MY APPLE IMAC 2011. CAN YOU TELL ME HOW PLEASE?

You can't take PC programs and run them in the Apple operating system. Each program is designed for that operating system. You might be able to use BootCamp on your Apple and your old PC operating system by creating a dual boot machine following the instructions that comes with that Apple program.You might also want to consider switching your data file from 2001 to Quicken Essentials.
On your recommendation I downloaded Money dance and got along great for two days. I saved all my work on computer and on a stick then went on holiday. On my return the saved files could not be found. I have spent a month trying to find them. I have paid for the Moneydance in the hope something would happenI am now nervous to use it again.Do I down load and start afresh or start over on the moneydance I already have and where did I go wrong with saving it.?
