The accountant's copy is not a full Quickbooks file, it only has parts of your encrypted information for the accountant review.

If you have received the copy from your accountant, the software is prompting you to import it. Choose File/Accountant's copy/Import Accountant Changes. The accountant copy will have the extension QBY. Then use the import window to review changes that will be merged.

If you DO NOT have an accountant's copy to import, you can cancel the accountant's copy - which will bring you back to normal. Choose File/Accountant's copy/Remove Restrictions. It will ask you if you are sure, and if you are click ok.
