Hi, I need to convert my windows quicken data to data for mac. I have the windows quicken data on an external hard drive that is connected to a windows computer that does not have quicken on it. How do I get that data on the external hard drive to a mac qxf file on a windows pc that does not have quicken on it?
Already Tried: tried to open the quicken file that is on the external hard drive on the windows pc
Hi there, and welcome to JustAnswer, I look forward to assisting you today with your question and providing the best answer possible.Whixch version of Quicken did you have on Windows? and Which version do you have on the Mac?
I am not sure what version on windows, but at least 3-4 years old, as far as the mac, I just downloaded the latest version of quicken from their website to the mac
ok, you are going to need Quicken for Windows installed in order to export the file for Mac.My suggestion is to purchase Quicken from herehttp://quicken.intuit.com/quicken-personal-finance-software-products-services.jspPurchase Quicken Home & Business 2012 as this should open any previous versions. Then export the file and get it working on the Mac.You can then claim a Refund on your purchase (the same day, or within 60 days of purchase)http://quicken.intuit.com/support/help/refund/terms-and-conditions-for-exchanging--returning-or-refunding-quicken-products/GEN83258.htmlThis will be the way to achieve the transfer. If you require any additional information, please do not hesitate to let me know.
