I am not sure what version on windows, but at least 3-4 years old, as far as the mac, I just downloaded the latest version of quicken from their website to the mac

ok, you are going to need Quicken for Windows installed in order to export the file for Mac.

My suggestion is to purchase Quicken from here

http://quicken.intuit.com/quicken-personal-finance-software-products-services.jsp

Purchase Quicken Home & Business 2012 as this should open any previous versions.

Then export the file and get it working on the Mac.

You can then claim a Refund on your purchase (the same day, or within 60 days of purchase)

http://quicken.intuit.com/support/help/refund/terms-and-conditions-for-exchanging--returning-or-refunding-quicken-products/GEN83258.html

This will be the way to achieve the transfer.

If you require any additional information, please do not hesitate to let me know.
