My Quicken 2011 Disapeared during a cleaen-up. How can I find it ss I can USE IT?

Sometimes the desktop icon disappears, from a cleanup or other action. The software should still be around.Open your start menu and type in quicken, or qw, or the name of your quicken data file, and allow your computer to locate the folder containing the software. Find qw.exe, right click on it, and create a shortcut. When that is done, click and drag the shortcut to your desktop and make sure your shortcut opens your software. This should locate the software. If it is indeed misplaced after a clean, you might want to open your trash or recycle bin to see if the shortcut of folder was about to be thrown out, and restore the icon or folder.Thanks for asking at Just Answer.
