Computer crashed, have new hard drive, but no Quicken. Have backup disk, older copy, but no disk I used to install. Need Quicken for taxes. Please. advise. Thank you.
Already Tried: Trying backup disk, w/o success, as there is no program.
Hi there and welcome to Just Answer
Which version of Quicken did you use?
I don't know. Had updated original version, but didn't use online services. Probably 3 yr. old.
I'm back online.
welcome back
if it is 2004 or previous then you can download it for free from here

OK, I'll try that.
Richie, I have installed Quicken 2004. Will that be sufficient, or do I need to upgraade from there. Not anxious to pay anymore than needed.

You sent me a link for Quicken 2004, but I found my system is too old to connect to that, can't open the link, am back where I started. Please help
Already Tried: Spent all aft. w/o success tryiing link expert sent, searched other Quicken sites, they told me my info is too old for 2004 to connect with. Can I just start over w/no history, starting in 2011 to gather tax info.
ok, then you would need to do this with no history as your data is too oldYou can use your version of Quicken to make a new company file and start with no data
I don't have a version of Quicken to open my file, as I have no installation disc, & no program to open my disc. Will have to start completely over, & buy a new disk. I understand what you are talking about, but have no program to start up my disk. Thanks, anyway.
