There is a chip or control board in the fob itself.Usually the fob will separate to access it but some are glued together making it difficult to access.The board has electronics on it that work with the locks and in some cases the security system.It does have to be programmed in order to work in your vehicle. The chances of having HIV in this way are very unlikely as the virus doesn't survive much outside the body. The chances of getting HCV and HBV infection are also very low as it is usually transmitted through the blood to blood contact . first to get it out of locked state :Press Stop/Reset 3 times if after that it is still in demo mode, tap timer clock 4 times, that will take it out of demo mode after coming out of demo mode set the clock time, press timer clock twice the colon will flash , set the time of day by turning the dial then press click time one more time. If it still does not come out of demo mode after that unplug the unit or kill power to it at the breaker for 5 minutes restore power and do it again, if after that it still will not come out of demo mode the main board has faulted.Please go ahead and take a second to rate the answer by clicking on the star rating system at the top right of your question page. Usually this means there is some type of evap system issue. This is for the emissions system and could be as simple as a loose gas cap, or something else. Start by checking the gas cap. If it's tight, then I would head to a parts store and ask them to read the codes for you. They will do it free and you can post it here with me so I can tell you what's really going on. If it's an emissions code you can drive the car without any problems on your trip. The code will start with a P, for example, P0455. If you would like to do that I can tell you exactly what's happening. Hello! My dog is a 6 year, Pomeranian chihuahua and I have noticed just recently (yesterday) that he has diarrhea with some mucus in it. He vomited once yesterday but other then that he acts normal. He hasn't been touching food that I've noticed or water in the last couple of hours. He's been put under some stress recently and a possible diet change due to a family incident where he has to stay with some relatives. Do you know any possible causes for this?

Hello again, Now given that it was a few days ago and his signs only started yesterday, I don't suspect the stress nor diet change is to blame here. Usually those cause signs within hours of themselves. Instead, I'd be more suspicious that the stress could have dampened the immune system and allowed a bacterial or viral gastroenteritis to take hold. Otherwise, we can also see these signs with pancreatitis, parasites/protozoa infections, general dietary indiscretion, or harmful ingestion (thankfully less likely for Baio). With this all in mind as he has none of those urgent signs I noted, we can try some home supportive care to try to settle his stomach. To start, if he hasn’t just vomited (since otherwise we’d need to rest his stomach for a few hours first), then you can consider treating him an OTC pet safe antacid [ie Pepcid (More Info/Dose @http://www.petplace.com/article/drug-library/library/over-the-counter/famotidine-pepcid), Zantac (More Info/Dose @ http://www.petplace.com/article/drug-library/library/over-the-counter/ranitidine-hcl-zantac)]. Whichever you choose, we’d give this 20 minutes before offering food to allow absorption. Of course, do double check with your vet if he has a known health issues or is on any medications you haven't mentioned. Though if he cannot keep it down due to nausea, that is usually a red flag that we need to bypass his mouth with injectable anti-vomiting medication from his vet. Afterwards, we'd want to start small meals of a light/easily digestible diet. Examples you can use are cooked white rice with boiled chicken, boiled white fish, cottage cheese, scrambled eggs, or meat baby food (garlic/onion free). The aim of these diets is that they will be better tolerated/absorbed by the upset gut; which means more nutrients and less GI upset/diarrhea. Fiber (ie canned pumpkin) and OTC probiotics (ie Benebac, Fortiflora) can be added to these meals to firm those loose stools quicker and support digestion.As long as improvement is being seen, I usually advise continuing this until the signs are settled, and then weaning slowly back to your normal diet. Furthermore, if he is very loose with his stools, you can also consider trying a pet safe anti-diarrheal. As I am sure you appreciate, these would not be a cure for infectious issues; but it can still be of benefit. It will reduce diarrhea load, allow the body to absorb more water/nutrients, and soothe the upset gut. In regards to safe options, the one we most commonly use is Kaolin/Kaopectate (More Info/Dose @ http://www.petplace.com/article/drug-library/library/over-the-counter/kaolin-and-pectin-kapectolin-k-p)). This is available OTC at most pharmacies. Otherwise, Propectalin, Canikur, Fast Balance, and Protexin Pro-Fiber (all OTC at vets, pet stores, and even Amazon) would be another option. All will slow diarrhea and those last ones have the added bonus of providing support to the delicate good GI bacteria. So, these can be used as a short-term means of soothing his upset GI. Overall, Baio's signs do raise some concerns here. Therefore, we’d want to start supportive care to settle his stomach. If he cannot keep that or water down at any point, appears dehydrated already, or doesn’t respond to the above within 12-24 hours; then we'd want to get his vet involved. They can assess his hydration, rule out fever, make sure there is nothing in his stomach that shouldn't be there or any sinister viruses present. Depending on their findings, his vet can treat him with injectable anti-nausea medication, fluids +/- antibiotics to nip this in the bud for him. That error means there is a stuck key on the keypad which means the keypad has failed, the only way to fix it for good is to replace the keypad, you can take it apart and unplug the ribbon cable from the keypad to the control board and clean the ribbon cable connector with a pencil eraser and they may temporarily solve the problem but in my experience the error always returns at some point so I recommend to go ahead and replace the keypad to avoid further issue.Microwave Touch Control PanelPart #: W10258188 - click herePlease go ahead and take a second to rate the answer by clicking on the star rating system at the top right of your question page. It's an Elgrand 2004 E51, with a key ignition. I've head it 4 months no problems, using either of the 2 keys that I have, today i got in to drive it, after about ½ mile it jerked twice and the warning light (!) came on, I got it into a nearby car park and it stopped, then wouldn't start, Tried several times, locking & unlocking the doors etc. I then got my son to bring the spare key from home, he arrived, it started but had all the warning lights still on. then it stopped and wouldn't start again, we've tried all the tricks that I can find to get it out of 'lock' but to no avail. we uncoupled the battery for 30 mins, still no go. We managed to tow it home as it was so close, uncoupling the plugs from the ECU that on the LH inner wing and refitting them, it started, but if you stopped it, that was it. no more. we've uncoupled the plugs again, nothing. I have now got the battery uncoupled for a longer time. The codes that we get are P1610 & P1612, p1612 I can clear, but P1610 will not clear.

Most likely this damaged a circuit in one of the vehicles computers as it may have shorted out an internal circuit or what can also happen is a code can set that will engage the securilock and the codes would need to be erased with a compatible scan tool/computer plugged into your vehicle to then allow proper operation again.I have had to do this in some cases.I would check and make sure all fuses are o.k. in all fuse panels.If these are o.k. then you will have to have the fault codes checked to see what codes are set and then those codes diagnosed to see if there is an actual fault needing repaired due to the knick in the wires or if the codes just need to be cleared out to resolve this issue.
