I have vaild reason to believe that my 3rd floor apartment has black mold - it has carpet and the guest bathroom flooded the first month we moved in (January) when the hose connecting the toilet to the water main burst, to no fault of our own. The leasing agent also told me (post- move in) that this apartment has a history of water damage. I have zero history of alleriges and for the last 5 weeks my husband and I have been coughing and hacking up green phlegm, unable to sleep or get any rest. It continues throughout the morning until I leave for work and get it out of my system. I am perfectly fine all day long until I return home. I want to ask my landlord/management company to get the apartment tested for mold. What are my rights?

My little Norwich Terrier who is a very fit and healthy 12 year old.
JA: I'll do all I can to help. What is wrong with the terrier?
Customer: He had an ear infection and was prescribed Easotic. suddenly out of the blue he has gone completely deaf, and is so distressed and disorientated.
JA: There are all sorts of infestations the terrier can pick up. I'll have you talk to the Veterinarian who'll sort out what is wrong and help you decide what to do about it. What is the terrier's name?

Customer: He is very fit and is eating ok, but is drinking lots of water and over a couple of nights when I was out of the house he had done a couple of wee's on the kitchen floor, which I think upset him.

Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you today. Poor Freddie,Now if he has hearing loss after you started the Easotic, this suggests that he had some damage to his ear drum allowing this treatment to get into his inner ear. When it does so, we can see hearing impairment (older dogs seem to be more at risk from this) though it is usually temporary. Therefore, in his case, we need to stop the treatment now and plan to ring his vet about a systemic/oral treatment for his ears if needed. Any delay and we can plan to gently flush the ear (to remove the Easotic and any infection lurking) with salt water (1tbsp salt to a pint warm water) as this is safe for all parts of the ear. I just bought a used 2005 ford expedition and the vehicle drove the*****home w no issues then 2nd week of owning I drove approx 6 miles a beep indicator went off I look at dash hot/cold gauge states full hot and a msg saying something about engine slowing down. It wasn't ran long enough to be hot wasn't smoking so I pulled over shut it off and restarted it. It went back to normal and drove another 40 miles with no issues. Then was driving it to next town over about 45 miles away it did it 3 times. All 3 times I pulled over shut it off and restarted it and it would go back to normal. Then couple days ago drove 180 miles to pick up my aunt. Ran the air conditioner the entire way and not one issue. But very next day coming back ran air and it did same thing twice. Turned air off and it ran fine for remainder of trip. What the heck?

Customer: There are about 180 thousand miles haven't been loosing oil and haven't noticed loosing coolant. I would see bright green right?

The first thing that needs checked is to make sure the engine coolant level if full just to be sure this is o.k.If this is o.k. what can cause this issue here is a failing thermostat to where it is sticking closed intermittently as I have seen before and had to replace it or a faulty engine coolant temp sensor sending a false temp signal intermittently acting up needing replaced.I dont suspect that this is an actual over heat issue since it happens so intermittent like this.These components here will need to be checked into to see if one is located to be the fault and then that component replaced to resolve this issue here.Your engine coolant color will be either green or red in most cases. Good morning, While I wish I could tell you that this was legitimate, it is indeed a check cashing scam. Check forgery, bad check scams, and check cashing cons have been around for a long time, long before online banking or internet accounts made it possible to steal your funds electronically. This long-standing method of conning victims, though, is getting new attention, especially during the holidays when consumers may be looking for ways to bring in a little extra money to offset some of the expense that can happen at this time of year.A check scam usually involves a convoluted story of give and take: the scammer is going to give you a check, you’re going to wire him a smaller amount of money in return, and you’re supposedly going to pocket a nice profit in the difference. But that’s the last thing that actually happens. These stories run the gamut of crazy tales—I have a check I can’t cash because I don’t use a local bank, I live outside the US and can’t afford the fees to cash an international check, my brother is going to send you the check because I don’t have a checking account of my own, you’ve won a lottery (that you don’t remember entering) or as in this case, it's an easy business opportunity. Buy a moneygram card, send it along, then deposit the check and claim the funds. When you take the check to your bank and cash it, you’re really only depositing it and withdrawing your own funds. When the forgery is discovered after your bank tries to process the check (which can take anywhere from one to five business days, sometimes longer), your money is long gone. You're on the hook for the bad check and all of the fees. And the scammer knows that the money gram/wired funds cannot be traced, and they get off with the scam. As with a lot of other scams, the important thing to ask yourself before becoming their next victim is how legitimate this story is. Why would anyone operate a business where you have to send a moneygram, make some simple purchases and claim a large fee for very little work? Why do you have to cash a check for them? It's easy for anyone to get wired funds or money orders, you can practically find them anywhere, so why do they need you to do it? More importantly, why would anyone reach out to you—a complete stranger—and hand you a check to cash, knowing that you could deposit it and never follow through with sending them their payment? They can trust you because they know the check they’ve given you isn’t real. If you don’t hold up your end of the bargain, they’re just out a small, worthless piece of paper.Don't do it --it's 100% a scam.
