Hi, my name is ***** ***** I will try to help. Was there any change at all when you charged the battery?

Expert:  Joshua Haynes replied 2 months ago.

Also, what method did you use to charge it?

Expert:  Joshua Haynes replied 2 months ago.

Hi, this is Josh checking in to see if you still need any help.

I did reply, here is my response, thanks

Thanks for response.

Replaced battery but upon replacement came across a green and white skinny wires which was attached to the smaller yellow “L’ shaped cable that plugs into tiny hole on side of battery. However could not find a plug in for the “green and white” wire. dont remember it being connected when we took out battery. Car started and no warning lights so far. Any thoughts what that wire is for??

Hi, I'm sorry I didn't get your response initially. I believe that that wire is a thermistor for the battery temperature so that the computer can know battery temp when developing alternator regulation strategy.

I think you are confusing the "L" shaped one that plugs in. However I'm talking about the green one that i cannot find a plug-in for! it looks like it should plug into something.

Thanks for your perseverance, thanks

Ian, I very well may be confusing the two. Could you attach a picture of what you are referring to?
