ANSWER: If you enrolled through TSA Precheck (paid $85 and had an application and interview at the enrollment center), you should have received a letter confirming your enrollment. Your Known Traveler Number (KTN) is on that letter.
If you have misplaced this letter, you can call the Universal Enrollment Service to get your Known Traveler Number: 855 - 347 - 8371.
Another option is to recover it on your own, through the Universal Enrollment Service website: https://universalenroll.dhs.gov/workflows?workflow=service-status&servicecode=11115V. There, you will provide the requested biographical information. You can find your Known Traveler Numberin your record.
Now, if you applied through one of the CBP programs, like GOES, SENTRI, etc. (paid $100 for enrollment), your KTN is on the back of your ID card, where it says PASS ID. If you have misplaced that ID card, you can call the CBP directly 855 - 873 - 4637, to recover your PASS ID/Known Traveler Number.
Use the number when making your reservations. If you've already made the reservation, call the airline and ask to have the Known Traveler Number added to the reservation.
