I have a growler, looks like an old large maple syrup bottle

Customer Question

I have a growler, looks like an old large maple syrup bottle used for beer, that I want to take home. It's empty, but it's glass. Can I carry it on the plane.

Hello, and welcome!

As long as it's empty and can go through the x-ray machine, you can bring it on to the plane as carry-on. However, keep in mind that the ultimate decision is always up to the TSA screener and your airline. I would advise double-checking with your airline, as well.

I hope this helped and wish you safe travel.
