Thanks for this question. This is dependent on a lot of factors. What would the transplant be for? any other health issues?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
The patient is an otherwise healthy 27 year old male who has an EF of 26 and has a pigs mitral valve that was inserted 3 years ago. He is on carvadilol and lisinopril and has been told in the next 5 years he will probably need a heart transplant.

survival is great for him. The heart can last 20 years and who knows after that. By that time, the technology will be incredible. Might be able to make him a new heart!
