Customer Question

I have a SAECO "Odea' Giro plus. The icon appeared about one week ago advising the machine requires descaling, which I have not got around to at this stage. I have carried out descaling on several occasions previously. Latest about three months ago.
After making a cup of coffee the other day, Monday gone, there was a loud clunk noise on finishing the coffee pour. A red light then began to illuminate in flashing mode and quickly.
The flashing red light has been alone up to today and after speaking with a Consultant over the telephone on 1300 363 391 I followed instructions trying to operate the water only which did operate initially and the red light went out of flashing mode. The water circulation then stopped and has not run since. The container if full. The green light alongside of red light is now illuminated and both the green and red light are illuminated in solid colour. The machine is now not operating at all. Am I able to fix the problem or do I need a new machine.

Initially, it possibly have airlock in the pump and water intake system

Try to manually prime your machine, for instruction CLICK HERE it supports all gaggia and seaco models.

Sometimes you need to get rough on your machine in able to remove the clog air on water line. slamming the water tank into machine sometimes help. If still, unplug your machine, remove water and turn the machine upside down or shake your machine if possible.

Let me know if you still have questions.

Hope this information will be helpful.
