I was given a patient payment plan agreement. The amount
I was given a patient payment plan agreement. The amount agreed upon was for $6,124.34 which I agreed to and paid up front. After the treatments were finished as laid out, I received an additional billing with a Due date of 02/02/16. From The billing company for an additional $8,461.04. I confronted the Doctors office staff Who advised me, they would return the billing to the billing company and advise them Of my concerns, saying the billing company would talk to me. No one called and I received another revised bill this am for $3245.09 I have talked to the Doctors office, they have advised me that they will discuss the bill With them and they should call me. Do I need your help? ****
HI - my name is ***** ***** I'll be glad to assist.
If the contract for services was agree upon and paid in full...and if the contract said nothing about addition charges/expenses, etc., then you should have the right to stand by and on your contractual agreement and maintain that you owe nothing further to the dentist for any work that was done.
You should look closely at the contract and make sure there are no hidden provisions that would require you to pay more than you initially agreed to. If that's the case, then you should be in good shape, legally.
