If the schools are 2 then Mann-Whitney U test is fine but if the schools are more than 2 then you should use Kruskal-Wallis H test.

Expert:  Rajan.Sareen replied 5 months ago.

Mann-Whitney U test is for two groups and Kruskal-Wallis H test is for more than two groups.
