I want to check how many

I want to check how many hours of real sew time my Husqvarna Viking Designer SE LE has on it. The service manual tells me to hold doe the second pressure foot button down along with the reverse button while powering up the machine and then type in the code but the code is different if you have updated the firmware of your machine Please tell me the codes for the updates

Hi, thank you for contacting My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.

Try holding down the reverse button, and the button that makes the pressure foot go half-up or half-down... then holding those two, press the Power button and power On the machine.

What happens?

Does the machine work basically?

What did you apply the update for, was there a problem? and where did you obtain the update?

I would suggest that, if the standard means of getting into service mode (or whatever the power-up mode with the two buttons held down is called) is not working, perhaps the machine is 'broken', period. The means of entering service mode on a machine is generally *not* altered by a firmware update, or a change in operating software.

But if you tell me the current status of the machine, and its reactions to what I am asking about, and if you also tell me the version of the update, then I may be able to instruct you further usefully. Thanks... and let me know, please.

I did all that. And a screen pops up to put in the code. The repair manual says they change up it updates. Yes this machine works perfectly I just want to check the real hours of sew time. Embroidery time and hours it has been powered up. the was updated from the official Husqvarna website with a download specifically for the Designer SE LE

OK, understood.

You need a code to actually get into the 'service mode' or whatever it is called.

I don't know that code, I'm sorry to say... you may have to end up asking the manufacturer about it.

But... you could try some default codes.

Does the space for the code, have a given number of spaces, e.g. four spaces, five spaces?

If so, try entering these defaults:








and see if any of those permit you access.
