Should you still need assistance for information purposes only...Please note: My function is to give you honest information and not necessarily to tell you what you wish to hear. Please do not rate prematurely (negative).Initially, may I know how old your machine? Did you hear any grinding noise?

How much longer to get an answer?

Expert:  Chester replied 1 year ago.
Sorry for my delayed response.Initially, step motor error may mean the embroidery arm is out of position gently push it back home towards the machine and see if this helps. Let me know if this is helped or not.

Thanks, ***** ***** not helped. You have sensor problem or main cpu board. For sensor problem, the embroidery carriage should be move and back to its home position when you turn on your machine. The stepping motor run, if the sensor in one or both ends are faulty the "stepping motor error" appear. Try to check the sensor and its connection going to the main board.

For main CPU board, the sensor detects the carriage but not recognized by the faulty CPU.
