These old Salem Tool Company sausage stuffers do show up at auction. They have amazing resiliency and seem to hold a fair price due to the kitchen tool enthusiasts who collect them. This Wagner stuffer was made in Salem, Ohio and was a standard for German American kitchens. It comes up in price guides as having a value of 150.00 but shows an auction history of selling in the range of 180.00. Dealers are trying to sell these much higher, 275.00 and almost 300.00, but they are fishing for buyers and I have not seen these sell at that price.
All the best, Dori
